To mother, with love

Me wid my Mom (2070, Jomsom)
Today is Mother’s Day. I am in this beautiful earth due to my mother. This realization is not for a single day, but every day and every moment feeling of being loved by my mother is something different.

Mother, a single word, carries the whole world. Mother is synonymous to unconditional love. There is a popular saying, “God cannot be everywhere; so he created mother”. True indeed! Mother is a form of God, who just knows giving, loving and caring. A mother shows us this beautiful world and gives us our existence. She not only keeps us inside her womb for nine months suffering pains, difficulties and troubles, but also gives immense love for living a meaningful life.

Memories

Earth revolves, seasons change.
Time passes, I know.
People change their face,
Feelings do change. I can understand.
Life has to move, so goes on.
But memories ?

They remain behind, deep inside.
As heavy stone in heart.
As fresh thoughts in mind. As silent prayers.
As tears in eyes.
As vibes around.
As slow poison, that kills inside.

Someone as you

Someone as you...
I always wished for
I always dreamed of
I was always looking for
I always needed of
Someone as you.
Who could be else ?
I found you, and all went true
Yes, its only you and you

You come, You go !

Day passed ! another night is here
Same darkness, taking my mind here and there
I close my eyes, see you in front
I open my yes, only a blur image hunt
A feeling of joy for a single moment
I try to seize the dream, i am sure you don't
You come, you go. You give sparkle in heart
I wake up leaving you behind, as new morning rise

Petrol Chhaina !

"Newly constructed roads are like playing ground, totally wide. Public vehicles are like matchbox, congested. And petrol is like sweat of Dolakha Bhimsen (Idol), too less supply." These were the lines posted in social site Facebook by Kantipur TV News Anchor Roopess Shrestha, satirizing the petrol crisis faced by general people these days. More than hundred people supported his opinion, through hitting likes. Its very eye pleasing to observe the wide lanes of roads across Kathmandu (good sign of development) and comparing it with that of abroad, but at the same time, its very disappointing to see the long lines of cars and motorbikes, queued up in different chowks to fill just few liters of petrol.

All that glitters (Nepali TV world)

Television is a world of glitter. It’s all about the charisma of screen and has certain magic to it. Not only does audio-video process differentiate the broadcast media from print but lights, camera and    other equipment along with attractive faces take this medium on a higher level compared to others.

TV industry, in other words, is a world of glamor. It has a huge charm as it’s directly connected with screen and fame. TV industry has made the world smaller and scaled new heights in communication.

Talking about Nepal, we are well aware that the broadcast media (television) as compared to print media holds a special charm for Nepali people. TV channels have mushroomed, and are now not only limited within the capital but also fast expanding in major cities. More than a dozen TV channels are in operation at the national level whereas another dozen run outside valley at the regional level, creating opportunities for hundreds of people.

Horns of dilemma (Modern relationships)

Sabitri is seeking love. Immense love. True love. Selfless love. She is young. She is pretty and modern. But she is confused. She tries to find ideal love in her life but fails. As a result, she feels low. She asks the same question to herself all the time, Kaha chha Prem? (Where is love?) But she never gets the answer she desires.

She seeks ideal love in her boyfriend who has much wealth but fails to be the person she wants. She ends the relationship in disappointment. After some time in isolation, she again tries to get the perfect love through a photographer friend. Sadly, she again fails. Despite many attempts, she falls short to fulfill her quest for ideal love through different men in her life. She says, “Those who are wealthy, their love smells only of work. And those who don’t have money, their love can never rise due to insufficiency.”

Tired of failing to get true love, she concludes, “Love is nowhere”.
